If you think all the above are bad, then DO try Turnip Schnapps - as downed 1 evening at the Pension Diane in that place called N.. still repeats on you 3 weeks later!!!!! (nearest thing I can think of to rocket fuel!!)
I think you have quite a culinary challenge on your hands... and you're still not convinced!! :wink: On the other hand, what would an Austrian have to sample where YOU live?? Do tell.... (and I have tried to explain Toad in the Hole to Americans...!!) |

Yes that was me! I was off work 2 years ago following an ankle op and so in need of cheering up, found the video I copied, however, I could not get it to play :-o so asked a work colleague who had a video to DVD copying device to copy it for me, and he tried but to no avail, so I am having to make do with the excerpts on You Tube, as I am finding all of you are too. Several of you asked if I had, and I had to apologise. :(
The whole documentary is a joy, from the funny music, to the clothing, to the difference in ski holidays, to getting on and off (or not!) chairlifts! and to the Ski Sunday music at the end of the beginner's ski race and the smile on Maureen's face! |

IF you can get a copy on DVD, please could I obtain one from you? I was gutted when I gave my tape to a friend to copy (with the hope that it could be copied for others on this forum) but the tape was so used, it was not worth doing!
I defy anyone to watch On the Piste and not be dying on the floor laughing!! :D :D :D |
