Yeah only learn on proper skis, you may find it harder at the moment but eventually you will become much more accustomed to them, and be able to use the blades for fun etc.

yeah the stamping (or 1000 steps as its sometimes called) is best done across the hill rather than down it lol.
What sort of level skier are you? |
Yeah Obertauern.
Good skiing although not challenging, but fun. Reliable snow and about an hour from Salzburg!!! |
Girls from here in BC are better, trust me )
Good luck with the level 1, sure you will pass easily cos it is easy!! Im on countdown till level 2 now, just over 2 weeks. Fairly confident with it but still working hard for these next 2 weeks. Off to Silver Star for the day on thursday which will be awesome!! Its visible from Big White in clear weather (rare here!) but is 2 hours away!! |
Went for the MSPs in the end and they are awesome skis!!! Great in steep powder and through the trees but will rip up the piste fairly well as well.
Recommended ski!! |
Dry slope is crap...proper skiing is awesome.
Faster, less painful to fall on (usually!. Its so different, only same thing is that you are in the same equipment! |
looking to buy another pair of skis this weekend.
I want a twin tip that will go everywhere, i kinda know most of the market in that area and have singled out 4 that i like the look of best. Dynastar Big Trouble 4frnt MSP Scott Punisher Volkl Wall Does anyone here have any experience of any of these skis?? I wanna be able to take them in the park, ski them reasonably well on piste and take them off piste. The Dynastars' are the fattest, 92mm so will probably be one of the better ones in the pow but will they be s**t on piste?? cheeeeeeeeers ** add to that the Armada AR6 as well |
I cant help, sorry.
But for anyone that could help, maybe state the airport you are flying into? lol |
