I wish i was asking myself the same question

Bit of an open question really, as both countries have some awesome skiing. That said, my choice would probably be Argentina.

Pablo Escobar wrote:Goggle tans are seriously cool when you are away but as soon as you get back they are just plain confusing to anyone who doesn't know. I had a seasons worth (naturally quite white but tan LOADS) and had to explain to almost everyone I know why it looked like I was wearing foundation.

Glad you had a good time Caron.

I still have a trace of mine from a very cloudy and snowy week in Feb, when i got back it looked like i'd done a season, seriously lol.

A season in Europe and id look soooo ridiculous haha
Ski Magazine

I'm with Pablo (who's Ross?) on this one. Printing houses are experiencing less and less demand, partly because of the economic climate but also because people can get the same information from the internet for free.

I'd also rather look at insane pics of heli-skiing in the Himalayas than a beginner on a green slope scared sh*tless! Look at Top Gear (off subject i know) 90% of the cars they feature and test are way beyond most people's budgets but the show is so popular!

A lower-end skiing magazine is definitely a big gap in the market, just not sure how many people would buy a magazine of that sort to make it worthwhile.
Where to go next?

I can also recommend Obertauern. Was there in Feb this year and it was awesome, sooo much fresh snow. Plenty of accommodation next to the slopes. We stayed at the Hotel Steiner and you just had to cross the road to ski down to 4 lifts. Not sure about the apres as i was only there with my mum and sister but what i did see was the typical Austrian, being lively and early.
