Hi Peeps, i'm off to Cervinia, Hotel Des Guides in a couple of weeks. Anyone been there, is it any good, i'm a lower intermediate, so going for a bit of cruising / confidence building as it's supposed to have lots of long easy reds. Any one got any recommendations for ski hire / eating out etc, i'd be grateful to hear.
TIA Mac |
Hi Peeps, firstly i'm new to this forum used to be a regular in skiclub uk forum but they've recently closed it down to non members, their loss is your gain
Anyways, they problem i have is the Mrs got some new ski boots a few weeks back and she seems to be having lots of problems getting them to fit properly. We've been back to the shop a fiar few times and they've stretched the boots so they don't crush her toes any more. But she is still complaining of foot cramps, they tried an off the shelf footbed in the boots and it seemed to make the problem worse. I reckon she needs a custom footbed or perhaps a heel raiser? The problem is worse when she uses button lifts. Anyone got any ideas or suggestions? TIA, Mac |
I'm a ski club uk refugee. I think it's a great shame they closed their forum (without notice) i used to spend many hours on their forums and found it was an excellent source of information and opinions. I shall miss that site but on the other side of the coin, i've found this site :D
