I read some where the other day that a yellow tint is supposed to be good for flat light? I checked my ski goggles, and they have an orange tint, where as my girl friends ones have a blue tint? Is this good or bad, what does it mean? Just curious ;)

yeah but maybe their actions were more a result of it being cheaper to ban non members than to get new forum software to stop sad annoying hackers from messing about in their forum?

I'm not standing up for their actions as i was pretty gutted about loosing this valuable resource, which incidently i'd have happilly paid a small fee for access to their site as opposed to becoming a member which frankly wouldn't have any benifit for me as i generally only get 2 trips a year.

I really think a bit of notice, even a few days, would have been nice. Or even suggesting another place for non members to congregate?

When you learn to ski and get hire boots you wear nice big comfy ski socks, however, when you get your own boots you're told only to wear the thin so called technical socks. Can someone explain the thinking behind this as all i can think is that your own boots should be a closer fit so you don't need thick socks, but what if it's cold out?

Don't expect he can afford to ski, after buying all that gear :))

well i just hope she can get it sorted before our hol in 2 weeks, else i can see we will have to get her some hire boots. Maybe i could do a deal with the hire shop and trade some worn in hire boots for her new ones :) that way everyones a winner ;)

Nice to see some ex ski club dudes. Definately a great bunch, shame they had to segregate us.
