If you get some Twinnie's you won't need to work out which end is which, as they carve backwards just as well :D
Rocker makes it easier!

I had a good fondle of the Storm range at the Show. I thought they seemed light and well balanced, and the paint jobs were ace. Nothing in their lineup that fitted what I was looking for. I've not seen a pair in use anywhere, which makes me think that they've not been selling enough. A Boutique ski range, amongst lots of others.
If you fancy something mainstream, I'd suggest the Dynastar Sultan 85 might be worth testing. I'm using the Sultan 80's and they are surprisingly versatile. I saw lots of the 85's in rental racks in Chamonix, which I take to be a good sign, because they ski well, and if there are lots....there will be bargains.
Movement are also worth checking out, but OH says you're not getting near his Thunders :P

Storm skis are made by Sporten in the Czech Republic. Their traditionally constructed skis are quite good, but their cap skis aren't up to much. There are several models on eBay uk from £110.
