Methinks this will need a reverse?
:lol:
Provide a good skier step right now !
Won't need to be very big by the sounds of it.

Tino,
You are right,,,so my next list will be called, "The Never Ever" list !
Can you admit that there are some really really NEVER items in skiing!
Such as;
Never ever sprinkle sand on a hot waxed ski bases.
Never ever be late for a powder ski day.
Never ever get married in winter
Never ever drill a hole in a ski without a bit stopper.
Never ever switch ski boots so right is left and left is right
Never ever ski on 220 cm Downhill World Cup skis in a public open slope.
and so on!!!!

Sorry Pavel,
I have:

~ taught my wife and sons to ski, (but never had a ski lesson!)
~ not jeans, but cordoroys, just as sinful. Bot it was aeons ago....

Sorry Pavel,
but I have:
gone on holiday with someone I've never skied with before
been passed my level of competency on a slope
skied in jeans
and put my skis in my rented apartment
Is there some sort of forfeit due for doing all these bad things?

Dave Mac,
I am not free of sins!
Yes I also "jumped" off a single chair lift that was stuck ( after 30 minutes)! Did not seem that high until free fall ! That soft powder snow seemed "soft" ! Never again!
As far as teaching skiing to wife,,kids,,,,remember you have to live with them after the lessons!
You all have given me an idea! I do get these great ideas once in a while!
We will start a SKI SIN list of worst SINS!
Persons can "confess" their sins and we will rate them!
1 = low level sin
10 = highest level sin
Every week we will rate these sins, I will get average and announce "weekly sinner winners" !
At end of month we can take weekly winners and vote on them to get "monthly" sin winner!
A small prize will be given!
Let me begin by "confessing" to this ski sin!
Many many years ago,,,,when I was young I did not have much money, but I had a passion skiing!
I could not afford ski clothing so I "made" my own!
I confess to taking an old army surplus green jacket from the Korean war ( most do not even know what this war was about)! I took an old raccoon fur coat, cut up sections and with fur made my own liner!
Not very fashionable, not very chic,,but in -30c it was great!
Problem was that wet fur gives off a special odor!
Problem was that OLD fur gives off another special odor!
I always wondered why I was alone going up a chair lift!
Now when I look at some old pictures,,,,I think of my sins!
Terrible look!
Looked like a "homeless" man!
It did serve me well for 10 years,,then I think my wife "forgot it" in the trash can !!!
Missed the memories,,but not the coat!
All you skiers who saw me then ( only a few now) please forgive me!
We are were only once!
It kept the passion alive!
