When I read the title of this thread, I keep on visualising small dogs dressed in bib and brace ski trousers
I am not a bad person :D
When choosing ski clobber look for a waterproofness rating. Some fabrics have a membrane, some don't, but can equally as good or better at keeping you dry.

Put the ski gear you don't want in a charity shop and then some very poor person (like me) can buy it cheap
Alistair - I don't know how much the last person paid for the Helly Hanson ski jacket, but I should think it must have been at least £150.

Ian,
If you're prepared to sell your surplus ski gear and you have some salopettes, maybe you should send the OP a pm asking them their size, and if you have anything suitable you could maybe negotiate a mutually agreable price for it?

Best pair of ski trousers I ever had were made by SOS - mid-price range but lasted for years. Now have some Rossingnol (lighter weight) for warm days and Colombia for colder days.
Does anyone else think North Face has become the modern equivalent of Rodeo and Nevica?!!!!
And what is a salapet? A domesticated lizard, perhaps!!!
