Not that I am any expert by any means on this but I would have thought that if you had a doctor's note with it (written in French) it may be acceptable. Is there anything on the French Embassy website you could check, or a Customs website?
I had DVT a couple of years ago and now have to travel with a collection of heparin syringes, so I am a right junkie if I go long haul, but I always have an accompanying letter with me. Only problem so far was at Hong Kong where I got questioned, but other than that it has worked fine. Am sure someone on here will know of a website you could check. |
I used to have it on a T shirt, my current one states SKI NOW, WORK LATER!! :D which I got from my local Mountain Warehouse, I think they still do them, and they do a 'BOARD NOW, WORK LATER' for those on the dark side!
Not that I have too many bad days in the office.. |

Ah thanks for that, the guesthouse has good reviews on Trip Advisor, and have done some more research about the resort and the area, definitely top of the list at the mo! Just need to sit down with OH and laptop and credit card, it was not a resort I was familiar with or knew anyone else who had been, so this is useful. I like the Gemütlichkeit aspect of Austria!

Oh and forgot to say, yes have skied back to Pension Diane, just had to climb over a fence and back through what might have been someone's garden! Never pass a place named after you...

When we skied Banff when it was minus 32 degrees, we were told to check noses for frostbite, so when you get off the lifts or come to the bottom of a run, just press your fellow skiers nose and if it stays white, it is time to get warmed up! Those 'Hannibal Lechter' type face masks were worn a lot. Don't get frostbite, easier said than done!
