Magic, we may be able to help, our chalet is in La Rosiere about 21/2 hours from Geneva but we have a mini-bus and free transfers are part of our package. The snow in mid-march is pretty much guaranteed, there's over 3 metres at 2600 metres at the moment. Check out La Rosiere's snow record. The skiing is good, sunny south facing slopes on the French side and north facing on the Italian, both covered on the same lift pass. If you want to know more, check out our website www.trackvacations.com or cal us on 020 8524 6694 or contact us via email at info@trackvacations.com

We have some availibility in our chalet Le Mouflon in La Rosiere 1850. La Rosiere is linked to La Thuile in Italy with over 150 kms of pistes, its great for families and for mixed groups. There are some lovely wide blues and reds on sunny south facing slopes with enough challenging descents to keep advanced skiers happy. For full details of our packages go to www.tracksvacations.com or contact us on 020 8524 6694 for the latest special offers.

Mac, I'm also a refugee from the non-members forum but lots of us are on www.snowheads.com which is where this site was mentioned. My wife has also had problems with boots and 4 years ago in St Anton, after hiring boots because her's hurt her etc etc, she decide that the hire boots were perfect. So they were for 2 years but as I could have predicted but didn't want to, they don't fit any more too loose now. The fact is they were too soft to be of any value but its often difficult to advise your better half that you do actually have their best interest in mind. I second the advise to keep persevering and check the measurements again. Good luck
