Ramsau only has 360cm up on the Dachstein Glacier (above average depth at the moment). Their other slopes are still good though!!

The average price for the 11/12 week instructor course, whether in Canada or Europe somewhere, is around £6000. Sounds a lot, but when you think about what you get for that price, it suddenly seems very reasonable!

Snow looks good as well, suppose it could only have been good at that altitude given all the snow and cold weather in the Alps recently!

Yeah St Anton has a great snow record, and at height, gets a huge amount of it. Probably one of the powder capitals of Europe. So, shortage of the white stuff shouldn't be a problem, even last season it wasnt!!

I have my seasons insurance the the BMC (British Mountaineering Club). Recommended to be by many people, so i have gone with them.

Filzmoos in Austria is in the Ski Amade, and within a short drive of the Dachstein Glacier. However Filzmoos itself has just had a massive dump of snow and its not over yet. They currently have 110cms in the valley (at 1060m) and 160cms up top (1650m). Not open yet but SHOULD be soon!! Thats already better than the highest they had last year, and its only Nov!!
