Yeah it can be like a mill pond, as AJ said, or you could get really wild seas. North Sea is notoriously rough but doesnt mean it will be when you go. Could be totally smooth for the whole journey!! How long is the crossing?

I have a helmet but i only wear it sometimes, like if im in the park or skiing off piste and in trees. Just normal piste skiing i dont tend to, cant really hear a huge amount with it on?? :lol: or maybe im just deaf, who knows!!

More and more people are wearing them though, especially boarders.

Yeah its the discounts at shops where the Ski Club membership is best, as Ross said you get good discounts with Ellis Brigham. I've saved way more than I paid for my membership, so all is good!
