Niederau, Austria

Is anyone in Niederau on the 4th Feb onwards for that week?

I am there 3rd/4th/5th Feb for sure with 9 mates, and I may personally stay longer if we have good snow.

Have just booked to return to Niederau for 3rd year.. the kids love it and I use it as a warm up for 3 Valleys "boys" trip. Hopefully snow will be plentiful as arriving Xmas Eve - our 1st Xmas skiing so thought it better to go somewhere were we know the whole family will enjoy. Can the "locals" keep us posted with weather as the web gives lots of different forecasts. Thanks. ps.. Dave Mac - looking forward to bumping into you as we have mutual friend - Julie, who we introduced to Niederau last year.. and given half a chance would probably sell her family to move there !

Ah, Julie ~ she is some gal. TonyH made an unwitting odd comment about her in this posting, although he doesn't realise that. She has one great sense of humour, and an unusual taste in drink! She will be there at a different time from me this year. She is also friends with another eminent J2skier, also a lady of extremes!

Nutty, I am looking to cover most of 3 weeks in January, with w/c 15th as the middle week ~ always have my b/day in the Bichlwirt! The locals pay for my drinks, that's the way it shoud work! Still hoo-harring specifics, as we have a big trip away in Feb, and some March skiing already booked.

I'm there wc 7th January, so may well see you dancing on the bar in Ghunters. )

In Oberau on 23rd, so will visit Niederau over the week. Wonder if I should have gone to N now, everyone raves about it, but have to consider kids. Kellerwirt in O was offering a xmas package so should be nice.
Couple of questions,
1. Is the bus system easy between O, N and A.
2. Is everything open as usual at xmas.
3. Is it really festive, worried about kids wanting to be at home.
4. Who else is going xmas week, might be nice to say hello to some J2 buddies.

Who are you flying to Oberau with and where are you flying from? when i add the resort option on the travel companies sites only neiderau seems to show for me ....i want to go to kellerwirt again :(
