Niederau, Austria

Will post skiwear details later when outfits are sorted out, hubby renewing this year, then fellow J2 skiers can idendify us and greet or avoid us as appropriate!

I am there from the 25th. My boys are 10 and 15 years old, plus got mates coming from the UK and Germany so we are a fair old gaggle.

I'll be there until about the 8th Jan depending on the snow.

Don´t worry about the snow! It will be just fine. It´s nice and cold already and the lift-staff is stand by to turn on all of the 35 snowcanons and 90 snow-lanzen which are all in perfect position! They are just waiting for the perfect moment to give us the perfect snow conditions all season long! The very ideal picture would be real snow on top of the snow from the canons. So let the snow stay out for a little bit longer... It´s gonna be just fine! Looking foward welcoming you in Niederau!

I went January 2010 and I had an absolutely superb time. You may have remembered me (if you were there) doing the skischool slalom in a 1980s slalom racing suit. Yes it was a drinking session the night before that reared that idea!!
Its a brilliant place to go and even though the runs are not taxing, the friendly apres ski is the reason I am going back there next January.

Apre-Ski in Niederau is indeed pretty lame frankly.
