In fact it is included in the Innsbruck Gletcher Skipass if you don´t mind staying in Innsbruck. You could have the Innsbruck Gletcher Skipass which gived the opportunity of skiing in 5 resorts around the city with Free skiBus departing from any of the ample choice of hotels and asking for the SuperSkipass.the chance to ski one day at St. Anton am Alberg and Kitzbühel.
Details at Innsbruck Tourist Board.
Ischgl is covered by the same Silvretta Arena Pass than GALTUR which is much cheaper and offers a choice of "tranquile partying" or short drive/ Bus to festive Ischgl

My friend came back a week and a half ago and he loved it although he said the umbrella bars weren't as good as Obertauern.
I'm sure we'll find some umbrella bars we love :)
Tino - I don't suppose you saw anywhere that shows English sport do you?
Long shot but I was hoping to see the Tottenham v Leeds cup game on Wednesday.
Also any Karaoke?
lol

I think it's better for boarding than skiing though, so it depends what you're looking for.

We went first week in March and arrived to green fields, and warm temperatures. Hotel was good choice, basic but comfortable and food OK, bus stop outside, and near to all the shops etc.
I had read a great deal of negative remarks about the Ski Welt map before we went, but nothing could have prepared us for just how bad it was. For such a large ski area to have only the lifts numbered and not the actual runs, is quite bizarre.
At every signpost, lift, and notice board there were hoards of people trying to work out where they were and how they could get to where they wanted to be. It was like a Monty Python sketch! We would study the board, and the map, work out which lift we needed to make for, head off, and low and behold, once committed to the what appeared to be the correct route, the lift number either changed, appeared on duplicate runs nearby, or worse still, disappeared altogether. On 3 occasions we found ourselves at a mystery junction that had no indication as to which fork to take.
Now if you don't mind skiing blacks when you want blues, you aren't trying to avoid T bars, and you're 100% fit so you can ski all day no matter what the conditions, there won't be an issue for you. But I'm sure there are lots of people like us, over 50, that like to know they can get back to base when needed; for instance a sudden change in weather conditions or you start to get tired. And if you are a sensible skier, you always make sure you can do this, but with lift numbers that change mid piste, disappear, or bear no relation to the map, it is almost impossible to do this. The anxiety this caused meant we didn't stray too far from the lift we already knew, so venturing to new pastures was restricted, or we used an expensive taxi ride home.
I did write to the tourist office about this, the response was "...our ski area is too large to number the runs...". I'm sure there are ski areas in France that are far larger with numbered runs!
So to sum up, beautiful runs, modern lifts, large ski area, reasonable accommodation prices, short transfer, against appalling piste map, inconvenience of getting bus to get to lifts, poor snow quality due to low altitude, means we won't be returning. Now where to for 2011 ???
