Just a short note of thanks for your answers sent via PM.
Some of you are well on your way to a polar fleece jacket. I will "correct" all sent answers at end of contest and post all correct answers on this site. Smart smart skiers on this site. ( Of course some clowns also ) |
What ski company refused to market a "rocker ski " ( the first one made by this company) after field testing it ?
Seems it was deemed "too dangerous" by ski company "gurus" !!! Hint,,,,,find man who designed, promoted this type of ski and read up on history. |
Ian,
Think,,,,,what was the ONE BIG issue in regards to Olympic participation several years ago? Why is this issue never discussed or debated today? The ski world solved this issue! Brundage. |
This item ALL GB skiers should get !
It challenges the mind since you need a flexible mind set. CMA10071982 If you really read all the postings on this site,,,,,you should get the answer in seconds. If you follow World Cup Racing this winter,,,you should get this item in days. Have fun using Google search on this one. |
Snowb4ndit,
This is a quiz,,,,,a contest,,,,thus send your answers via PM,,,,or else others will be "inspired" to send YOUR answer . Think a little "earlier" in olympic history. |
1. The GB Olympics are just over. How has skiing changed changed the regulations of all the Olympics events.
The key word is ALL . |
A small warning for the "others".
Since this is a GB site, the first two items on the quiz will be oriented for the GB skiers. This will give all GB skiers a "head start" on the quiz. Be ready. |
Now that is a comprehensive response.
Think of writing a book on, "The Perfect Ski Tourist " A small comment on the "tourist" label. Not all skiers are tourist. For some it is a life time activity which borders on a "passion" or obsession so it is not a "one week affair", but a life time of "passion". You can tell the difference at the chalet and in the slopes. Just my opinion. |
