Different size feet

It is easier for a bootfitter to make a smaller boot fit a bigger foot, and really hard to make an oversize boot fit a smaller foot. The result of buying a boot too big will be a sloppy fit.
Ski boot shells tend to fit 2 Mondopoint sizes. For example, a 25.0 and a 25.5 will be the same shell but with different thickness liners.

It's really important to get the correct size shell. Have you been measured for a ski boot yet?
Cheap Flights With Ryanair

The low cost airlines, including Ryanair are well known for trying to wriggle out of their obligations under current law. This is law, not an advisory.

Before you know it we'll be accusing Hoop of attempted manslaughter/gbh/assault with an offensive skier.

Give the guy a break.

If his mates are inconsiderate/stupid enough to not have lessons ( even experienced skiers have lessons) then that's their problem.

Yes, potentially they could hurt someone else, but to be honest they're far more likely to have a darned good time, and maybe crash into each other :!:

Sure, I endured 16 weeks with a broken collarbone to consider my perspective on out of control skiers. 3 years on and my r/s Acromion joint is still displaced as a result of the injury.

Lets all hope that they have adequate insurance.

Re: the second point. I'm sure you're not suggesting that people having lessons never fall and hurt themselves? Obviously, lessons enable you to learn faster, in turn reducing the likelihood of a nasty fall as time progresses, but the reality is that anyone can have a fall and hurt themselves, whether in a lesson or not. Even experienced skiers have nasty accidents all the time. My friend's father was the president (or something like that) of Norfolk Ski Club and had a horrendous injury recently from a seemingly inocuous piece of skiing.

Was somebody on here not asking for advice the other day as their wife had had a fall on her first lesson and broken her wrist?

If you or your friends lose control, hit another skier and injure them on French ski slopes, it is likely that a Gendarme will be called and statements taken. 3 years ago I was invited to press charges for assault after a woman crashed into me on a French ski slope.

Most goggle makes will do an over the specs goggle which will generally be a bit bigger in size to fit over the glasses.these models will sometimes give you a better field of vision because of their larger size

My experiences with wearing glasses and goggles over the last 25 years of skiing are that most of the OTG goggles available make the wearer look like a complete prat.

It is not fun wearing what looks like a plastic cereal box on your face. Only in the past year or two have makers stopped treating specs users like an afterthought. To accompany my trusty Oakley L Frames, I now have some Sinner Beast 2 with a rather nice Tortoiseshell frame :D

it could happen, there was some talk of doing the PdG 2010

8)

Though you'll need a sponsor more in keeping with the event. Ginsters Pies, I just can't see it somehow

In fact, if you want to do the PdG, no more pies for you at all )

my fans, Sid and Doris Bonkers, are gutted and Ginsters Pies have pulled their sponsorship deal so that's 25p I'll not be seeing )

I'm so disappointed that I won't get to see you in a skinsuit now ) I could send you the 25p if you'll reconsider :D

I really struggle with goggles. I hate wearing them because I feel as if my sight is being blinkered. What are the goggles out there that have the best visibility?

caron look out for Adidas Robin goggles. Quite good peripheral view and they are made for smaller faces :D
