4x4 it hurts now, but you will heal, and you're still skiing which is what counts  Um, I appear to have thwacked a middle finger quite significantly whilst skiing, and not been aware of it until I stopped for the day. It was the last afternoon of my last trip, 30th Jan. The poorly finger was shades of purple and black and it still hurts. I did think I might have broken it, but it seems to be attached and working okay. Driving was interesting with one digit stuck out though

Ski Boots are a pretty unforgiving environment for tender tootsies. How many pairs of your shoes are made from rigid plastic for the soles and uppers? Once boots are properly fitted and set up, this skiing lark is easier :D |
John D welcome to the Forum. I hope you enjoy Val D'Isere :D

Jammy beggar  :P |
So do I, and I've worn goggles over my specs for many years, without any problems, and in all conditions. Just make sure that the goggles you choose are marked OTG as this will ensure that the lens chamber will be big enough with plenty of ventilation. Buy some Anti-fog Spray for your specs. Here's a couple of examples.... http://www.eyewear2gogo.com/acatalog/Bolle_X9_OTG_Goggles_-_Shiny_Grey_Vermillon_Grey.html http://www.thespecsplace.com/product_detail.cfm?id=760 |
