Oooh I'm being spoiled, it feels sooo good :D :D Ta very much, quality info 8) |
Pabs and Admin I'm very interested in the Crowbars. Oakley have changed their goggles lineup for the OTG range, and I think that the new Proven model is downmarket of the older L Frame (like the O but bigger), so I'm keeping a lookout for new ideas, after my huge disappointment with the Sinner Beast II.
Mind you I do have a stock of the L Frame put by....perhaps I could open my own shop ) |
Excellent news  |
Right, I have been and looked around on the web with a google search, and not many of my concerns have been answered with the information that's out there. These goggles appear to have been around for a while and seem to have been last years' (or possibly the year before) "must have" gadget. Comments from users seem to be a bit thin, apart from 1 comment on aboutdotcom, and I suspect he's a journalist, so FAIK he's been paid to wax lyrical about them.
My concerns do not stem from being reluctant to embrace new technology. Right now I don't feel the need to have my goggles powered by a 6 volt battery. :D |
Who gave you the job of being the bad boy around here  |
Hey, no pushing in Wickers  |
Well, since you ask so politely, yes actually. How long do these lenses last? What is the resistance of these lenses to scratching, when compared to other quality brands? Does the price differential equate to buying a decent pair of say Oakleys, and 2 lenses in terms of longevity? How long have they been in development? See, if I buy a decent pair of Oakleys, I know that not much has changed with the optical quality of the lens. The company might fiddle about with frame design, but this lens seems quite a departure, and frankly I'm sceptical. Over to you :D |
Have you got any HP Brown Sauce for the bacon though :D |
