Last two items wrong, however it is a great hint for "others" to identify since the first item you all have seen many many times before and will see for the rest of your skiing life
Not sure Ellistine has seen item two before since he is too young and neophyte to skiing but.....he does have other ways to view ski items!!! I am sure Jan has seen item one and two many many times! In fact I am sure Jan has seen item one "at moment of birth" often! He just never stopped to watch the "moment"! As far as item two,,,that he has seen many many many times, but then he was too young then and focussed on "other" things! Bandit is also too young to indentify those two alone,,,but then perhaps "the acquired ski knowledge" can be obtained in many different sources. Sorry two errors! That top right section does seem interesting! |
First place = Mike
Second place = Jan Third place = Ellistine Bandit ( a late starter) is silent but ready to pounce fellows! I suspect that Mike has somehow "taped" into my computer since he has discovered some of the "hidden" clues. I know I promised not to give clues,,,,but fellows,,,you are going to need some help from some "older" skiers! During the WW2 in England people were trained to spot all sorts of planes from sound, shape and speed! You are going to have to refer to "older" experienced skiers since it seems to me you are too young ( not sure if that is a compliment or insult) to identify some obvious items that anyone over 50 would see in a second! There are at least three items that these persons would see and identify in 10 seconds! Get an old pro! At end of week I will tally correct answers and post them! |
This contest is going to last 3 weeks and I want to sleep at least 5 nights !
So I have to tell you about the Rossi stickers you see in picture. One just near stop watch and the other on ski carrier! Look at the one at the left! (above the watch) IT is a women! ( in profile) I have a large sticker on back of my car and I get lots of requests from boarders to get such stickers! That is all I wanted you to see! I should have kept quiet! Sorry. Back to our hunt! Look at that green old ski, what is near tip? Look at that Dynamic ski, what is at its tip? Look at the Rossi ski, what is at its tip? Jan, look at those bindings see anything that is classic? That all skiers wished for! That basic design is still used today! Hope clues help you all! I will now shut up and let you enjoy hunt! Ellistine,
It is about listing items to get jacket. But,,, remember we said be as specific as possible.... that Rossi item has more than you think! I will send you soon a "large" sticker which we no doubt cause much discussion at your bar! Go on ( sorry for side track ) I just love to make people think! Discover new ....... |
No Pavel knew some bright souls would find this clue!
Now look carefully! Let your mind free! Let the ID take over! Have ever hear of subliminal marketing! Who is the target audience for these Rossi products! Bandit focus! It will come to you! The Eureka moment is near! Who will be the first!!!! I suspect you older men have a too strong Super-Ego which filters those messages from the ID! Keith, your girlfriend will not like if you do not see this! |
Once you become "addicted" to tuning your skis you will always look for better tools or a better way to do some tuning procedures.
I always look "outside the box" for solutions or ways to make life easier! My girl who has a spa found a perfect tuning tool for me! You see she has been tuning her skis since she was 10 and still insists to tune her skis her way! This tool is used in the spa as a finger nail buffing bar. It is 20 cm long with a very thin plastic center and two foam layers on each side. The surface has three grits!All women know about this tool! Once you have filed edges and used ceramic stone, this bar is perfect as final clean up! All metal micro-shafts are picked up! It creates a very clean very sharp edge! Just ask your wives or girlfriends about tis bar! They know what it is! I also have learned to use it as a support for wrapping fine grade metal 300 grit sandpaper! The foam layers give that perfect surface for a clean even finish to my edges!I now will care one in my ski jacket! Never know when my nails or ski edges will need a touch up! Since we are in the "cosmetic" section, another great product to have is clear nail polish bottle! Many binding screws are now inserted into plastic ( I will show you soon a Rossignol SL ski which broke because of this) and this often result in "loose" screws after one season! One drop of this magic nail polish acts like a "instant glue" Allows for flex, yet never cracks or breaks down! Men, we have a lot to learn from the products women use! Another great application of this nail polish clear coat is on the cant side screws on boots! They tend to get loose with vibration! Just take off screw when you do your seasonal cant adjustment and put one drop in screw threads! You will never lose another cant screw! If you have the Rossignol racing bindings, with the turntable. The rear two screws ( on rear units) are very long and take in a lot of vibration and stress! I have checked a university team's bindings and 70% had loose rear Rossi screws! One drop in each screw solves the problem! I suspect women's fingernails go through more "harsh" situations than racing bindings!!! Hope this helps you all! |
Ellistine,
You are good! Your mind is sharp! Yes you are right, they are forever with you! Take care of them! Now Jan will really impress me if he discovers what this decal says and what it shows! Now you see why a great resolution screen helps you "appreciate" the finner thinks of life or is it his "experience"! Mind you all you men have the same experience as Jan as far as these red stickers are concerned! It will all of a sudden "hit" you! Or ask Bandit!!!! That is a very very very big hint!!! Dam it and I promised not to do so!!!! It is so obvious!!!!! Bandit help them!!!! |
I have orientation problems. Should read;
On left is fine cut and on RIGHT is coarse cut. Sorry |
