My parents went to Lake Garda during the summer and won't shut up about it, I am sure I could get some café recommendations out of them but I doubt they would have any tips for sailing etc :lol:

I'm now more confused than when I asked :shock:
Tahoe was the first place I looked but £2k per head is a tad excessive :evil: Garda is on our list but thought it may be better for the two of us rather than with the boys? Is it in the mountains?

What about the English Lake District you could visit Windermere, Derwent Water go sailing on Bassenthwaite Lake, go for a leisurely walk around Crummock Water or Buttermere the possibilities are endless but one thing is for sure, you can always relax at the end of the day with a good pint of English ale. Worth a punt if only for a weekend. :D
