I still daydream of living in Austria one day but until then i`ll just have to live with holidays.

I have the best of both worlds, Scottish hill walking, tennis, guide dogs, family & friends in Scotland.

For the winter, skiing, Niederau, painting, Austrian friends amd a very understanding OH. I would stay for the winter, but that would not fit with home life. So I am content.

Only 8 days to go.

Dave, do you bag Munros or just take it easy?

Not a Munro-bagger, just a big love for mountains, especially Scotland, Austria and Switzerland. All different characters, all wonderful.

Changing the topic slightly, as anyone succesfully conneceted to Three Austria whilst in Neiderau?
I have a Three UK USB modem I was hoping to use in the laptop while I am in Oberau in a cople of weeks time but on inspection of the Three Austria map, coverage on the Three network drops off Quickly once you exit Worgl.

Also does anyone have any idea if the Dorferwirt in Oberau have any wireless internet paid or unpaid? Tried to contact them but the contact page always ends in error.

Thanks

Mark

Yes you are correct, if you can get on the three Austria network its just like being at home so you can use inclusive minutes, texts and data allowences. If you cant get on three there is no data network its going to cost much more for calls and texts.
Hard to believe that the coverage is so short range but if you zoom in on Worgl it looks like once you get out of the vally youve had it.

It looks as though coverage is restricted to the Inn valley, and the area around Kitsbuehle. Won't bother taking the laptop then.

I sthere life after J2Ski?
