Me too ! The bigger the box the better sometimes.
But with this note I'll take another crack at it:
#1 ... -5C meaning the most comfortable skiing temperature for me
#2 ... 0knts. meaning no wind and therefore no wind chill
#3 ... 10 pm meaning the time the ski hill (Martock) closes for the day. You need to know when to leave
#4.... 20 cms meaning snow coverage .. knowing the ground and snow coverage you're skiing may prevent costly ski damage and therefore save you money - if you know where the coverage is too thin.
#5 ... 8:30am meaning the time when the sun position may cause flat light and difficult ski conditions - dependant on the particular hill of couses. Knowing what to expect may help make the skiing safer --OKAY this one is a reach...

I'm trying to think less about skiing over the summer months not more!
Are we talking about numbers relating to the skis themselves or skiing in general?

You know, Ellistine, Pavel is loving this !!!
I saw you were on line so thought I would ask if you ever have gone to the Blackpool Dance Festival? I think it takes place next week. My wife and I and some friends were there in 1994. And of course toured the Tower Ballroom and the tower itself. Also toured the Lake District and spent a week in London. We had a great time!

Having lived all my life in an English Seaside resort I've never really felt the urge to visit some of the others around our coast - I know I probably should. As for dancing, blimey, I remember when I was at junior school I was quite ill for a while with a form of meningitis. I was off school for about 6 weeks plus for another 6 weeks I was excused from the compulsory 'country dancing' lessons. That pleased me greatly :-)
125cm = Pole Length?
To be honest at the time I think it was probably more to do with having to dance with Girls. Funny how things change as you get older!
Insurance Policy Number?
Yes the Lake Districts are lovely. I have an Aunty who lives there so I've visited the lakes quite a lot. I remember having to ride my mountain bike back to her house for about 20miles, stood up, having snapped the seat post decending one of the mountains. For somereason we also thought it best to take cans of Ginger beer with us. Again, funny how things change as you get older.
5 - Levels of ski ability (although looking on various sites it's more like 9)

My dancing only began after I was married... my mother wouldn't know me now!
My wife's cousin lived in Weymouth for a time. Is there an area called St George's Hill in Weymouth or is that in Glouster? We visited in '94 by taking the Bakerloo line to Waterloo and a train past Wimbledon to their place. Last name was Hepher.
More numbers from Mike:
1 Side bevel in degrees
0 Base bevel in degrees
23-13-445 A number like my phnoe number in case of emergency
10 number of minutes for the chair lift to get to the top
51 the number of runs I've accomplished in one day - so far !

No, Greenhill perhaps? There's an awful lot of King George Links in Weymouth as it was him who made sea bathing fashionable.Mike wrote:Is there an area called St George's Hill in Weymouth
The line from Waterloo station ends in Weymouth and does indeed go past Wimbledon
2004 = Zell Am See, Austria. The first time I stepped into a pair of skis?

Yes I now do recall the line ending and going for a train. Does Weybridge sound anywhere close to correct? You see we have now two quizzes going !!
But some more numbers:
$35 --- the amount saved each time by tuning the skis (ourselves) as Pavel has taught us.
6.5 --- my DIN setting
6.75 --- the appproximate number of months left to assess my needs for the next ski seasson and prepare for that season by taking care of and maintaining all the gear, season pass purchases, new gear purchases, getting knees scoped or knees replaced, etc.
165 --- the length of the Mutix Rossignol skis which Pavel has set out as the prize for the quizz.
125 --- my pole length too!!!
Now if you noticed the time of this post you will see that I am having a sleepless night Pavel!!!
Oh - but what fun... :!:
Mike
