Ahem, I believe Googling for "ski bardonecchia" or "bardonecchia snow" (etc) would have brought Mekka straight here... 8)
Mekka - welcome to J2Ski; however you found us!
Back on topic - am I the only one here who hasn't booked anything yet?
congratulations on the job
our group's going to that chalet and the one attached to it in March so I'd be interested to hear all about it if you do choose to go there. I'm off to Obergurgl in Jan so maybe you should go there in March and we'll have reverse holidays :D
If you are planning on a BA flight, watch out for their new ski carriage charges

I have been thinking about my plans today, BA are looking like £97.70 gatwick to salzburg. This is a bit of a pain from my location 20 minutes past bristol but the next cheapest you're looking at £180+ for a local flight! Thinking of baseing ourself in flachau we're me and a friend can get an room for 20e's a night, then exploring the salzburger sportwelt region properly as we only got to the wagrain area last winter with school!

I typed in 'Bardonecchia + Ski + Forum' and it brought me here!
I have joined a resort forum before but I didn't know this mass of ski knowledge existed. The fact that it's a nice friendly environment is a huge bonus!
Thanks for the welcome :D

Having spent ages looking on the net at just about every resort under the sun, I think we have almost decided on Arabba for a week in January. The reports on various threads have been really helpful so thanks to everyone who has written and posted photos. Our preferred accommodation is Chalet Brigitta so if anyone has stayed here any information would be appreciated.
My next problem is deciding where to go for a second week in March as I have such a long list of places I want to try!
congratulations on the job
