Glad you had a good, no great days boarding. Getting it all right is rare, good on you.

I suppose you must go for the atmosphere, I guess it would be a good experience to be in another resort and ship in for the evening to watch the race, as to stay in schladming around race day must be a nightmare 8)

Getting back on thread just booked my hotel in Livigno, bookings must be struggling as they have previously refused to take a part week booking but they have had a change of heart, so I have only a green card to arrange for January then I'm sorted for this Winter 8)

There will be snow and you won't get ripped off if you're careful. Make sure you always double check your bill before you pay, and have change. In lot's of places (not all) they never have any change so you won't get any! Remember if you are buying ski wear that if it's a bargain then it's probably fake.

I wouldn't choose to go back there but we did have a good time.

You will still have a fab time, don't worry!

Who are you booked with and where are you staying? :D

You really should have read some of the J2ski reports before you booked,

There are some good aspects to Borovets, the snow is usually good. I was lapping up a metre deep, and the locals were moaning about the "bad season". Gondola locations are good. Good runs. If you choose not to ski back to the hotel, the normal taxi is a horse and sleigh for next to no cost. The ski school is a high standard.

The food is not the greatest. You do need to count your fingers after a transaction.
