My assessment is that it seems like a fairly harmless little beginners ski resort. The slopes are pretty limited and in the shade, but fine for a young family learning or a couple of hours of hungover skiing. The nightlife will also never be Ischgl or Val D'Isere.
I'm happy 'cos I have a car and a Tirol ski pass, but can't see the appeal if you are an intermediate or better skiier. OK for your 1st or 2nd week of skiing I guess but then you need to spread your wings!!!

You're absolutely right in your assessment, almost exactly how I found the place when visiting for 4 days in 2008, but be prepared for backlash now from the Mayor and his loyal servants )munich_johnny wrote:My assessment is that it seems like a fairly harmless little beginners ski resort. I wish I could meet the person who first decided to strap 2 planks to their feet and throw themselves down a mountain

It's not Welsh, it's what happens when you try typing on a Continental keyboard - I had the same problem in Tignes, except that they'd made things even harder because they'd changed the keys to the British ones but you had to remember where they were because they still had the 'foreign' markings.
Welsh looks like this:
Ffermwyr llaeth fydd yn elwa fwyaf o'r prosiect a byddant yn derbyn cyngor ...
I think what Emma meant was 'stop slagging off Niederau' :D
