I'd sort it out at the resort - usually they have everything you want. Stöckli has an online reservation system here: http://en.stoeckli.ch/main/locations/engelberg/reservation/ - it might save you some time!

Still looking snowy on the webcams. I guess Eric could reserve some powder for you, if you asked very nicely.
I do hope your plane is punctual :D

According to snow reports, websites and webcams, it has become very cold again - and snowing today!
Looking forward to the early flight and ski-ing on Monday afternoon! )

Its stopped here in Zurich now, but this morning was chaos. Seems like the snow plough guys thought winter was over until it came back with a vengeance this morning.

Ah, the return of legendary Swiss efficiency!
Thank you, Bandit, the equivalent flight landed 13 minutes behind schedule this morning. Not bad for a Saturday - and we have an hour and seven minutes to spare at the airport before the train to Lucerne. If we miss that, it's half and hour to the next one, and so on, so we remain hopeful of Monday lunchtime powder action (if Eric and his Swedish gang haven't used it all up!)

I'll vouch for the 40cm. I was pretty close to Engleberg today and it was thigh deep powder and face shots all day.
