I think there was a couple. This is me, and Newbies IIRC.
There is always an element of chance with ebay, I don't think I have ever been caught out most of gear I have brought seems to have been ok. Sometimes I suppose a good deal is not always what it seems :shock:

can we not just ask admin to delete the last 3 pages.
anyway back to spyder, is there a guide on the internet how to spot fakes, i was looking at them on e-bay and i wouldn't have a clue how to tell them apart

what do you rate for warmth and dryness any particular brand,i bought a nike acg for france, looks lovely but we will see when i get there, any idea what the sort of temperatures are in france? i can stand anything but wind. There was a couple of bad days up top in N and it was like being sand blasted at the top with the wind.

You can't rate warmth and 'dryness' of a particular brand because within every brand there are expensive jackets and cheaper ones with more technical features etc..
