Although a (rich) Russian husband would come in handy - I'm not sure it would appeal to the rest of the group.
What would you rate as top for Choc Box beauty, that has great amenities and a fairly social environment - the Morzine of Switzerland I guess - not too in your face (also not a tiny hamlet - although they are pretty you'd be kinda bored stiff)
thanks!

that's hard to unravel, how would it rate for ""Chocolate Box" Swiss Ski" ? out of 10? around 1/10 I would say, it is in Switzerland geographically at least. Unless you're buying Swiss Chocolates from Aldi I suppose.
Is it the Morzine of Switzerland? That's very much been the concern. Although a large number of Russians is a new one on me. There are other stereotypes visiting I might recognise though )
It might be better if you described what you were looking for. Did you want somewhere small, traditional etc?

WHAT/WHERE is the top chocolate box resort.
My criteria as described are good amenities, fairly social environment (not over the top brits abroad/major parties all night). A bit like Morzine - but in Switzerland. Where is that place? Is there such a place?
cheers

That's a bit easier although most Swiss towns have industrial estates with underpasses with more alpine charm than Morzine so that's not a really useful benchmark.
The list is just huge, most everywhere that's not allowed development to get out of hand would fit the bill. Adelboden is certainly pretty nice, as is nearby Lenk. The list seriously is too big, have you a shortlist? This is the rule in Switzerland much like Austria really in that respect.

Proper old fashioned Switzerland with good skiing spread out over a valley.
Alternatively, try the Jungfrau region and Grindelwald.

Take a look at Saas-Fee. It would seem to tick most of your boxes, and the scenery is amazing.
