Main problem with boarders is sitting in the middle of a run just over the brow of a hill.

Jesus christ you people need to take a look at what you are actually posting. A thread has been created to form an opinion of others regarding the decline of a snowsport and all you have done in MOAN about snowboarding like you own the mountains. To be honest you all have valid points regarding snowboarders sitting down to rest, I have never seen anyone on skis stop to rest in the middle of a run, or carve a decent run in to moguls because they are unable to control their speed correctly.

This is the problem with skiing and snowboarding, everyone seems to think they have a divine right to the mountain as if they own it. News flash you don't, so why not just enjoy your skiing experience like everyone else and stop the negativity towards other forms of sport just because you don't enjoy it/understand it.

Also regarding the images of snowboarders sat under lifts in groups. Strong possibility they are sat at the top of a park run awaiting turn. If you check parks runs today you will find those piles of people are actually weighted towards skiers.

Andy, I know sometimes its hard to spot humour, sarcasm etc on a forum but surely you can tell when people are making light of things on here?

The issue regarding sitting in the middle of pistes is a genuine one, but the joke names etc is all banter.

Chill out brother. Seriously.

We have to keep up the banter, otherwise the envy of soft boots would show!

There's no animosity in our club, just freindly banter between the 'gays on trays' and the 'prix with stix'!
