Hi, we are going to Niederau, it will be our 2nd time, where do you go for your ski fix.

We are off to Serre Chevalier on Saturday - it will be our fourth time there in the past 10 years or so. We have been to Austria twice this season so thought we'd have a change. Have a geat (injury free) time :D

With all my N. experience, I am still finding out that things will always change. Last week I took my skis into one centre for an edge sharpen, and the next day there was little change. So I took them into Margreiter, and told them of the issue, and asked for an 88 degree edge sharpen ~ they were brilliant!

The first place was one where I know the owners well, and they gave a good hire dicount for our ski party, but the maintenance was left wanting.

I shouldn't worry too much though, waxing may be the only issue. It is dumping snow, the runs are in great condition.

Hi guys, sorry to off on a tangent here, but wanted to pick up on something Dave Mac said.

Been to Neiderau twice and fully expect to return there regularly. I suspect I know which shop the first one you went to was. My partner and I are still having the 'rent or buy' dilemma re skis so at the moment we rent. Would you say that it would be better to go to Margreiter for this rather than the other place? I fully confess to knowing very little about skis other than some very basic stuff
I wish I could meet the person who first decided to strap 2 planks to their feet and throw themselves down a mountain
