Abd you have the nerve to refer to someone from the East Mids as a "bumpkin" coming from deepest darkest Naaaarfuk????? Good heavens above.
Tennis, Table Tennis, Pool, whatever.....bring it on old man and prepare for a gubbing. If nothing, it will at least finally get us 2 together!!!!

What ever the outcome one thing is certain, we will have a glass of something cold....after I have taken you to the cleaners of course :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Whichever you choose, I'm guessing it's going to make a great spectator sport so you can expect a large J2Ski audience to cheer you both on :D

We are taking our tennis bats on holiday, so Little W can give me some extra coaching....so it looks like I'm in training 8)

Oooh that's fighting talk. I don't suppose (this being a skiers site and all) we could get you two hayseeds to settle this on skis?
)

I have some inside info, I think I know which hayseed might win that.

The tennis does sound fairer. But with Wickers referring to a raquet as a "bat"......

Not difficult. I have skiied with one of the hayseeds, and he doesn't hang about. Well, I might put it a bit stronger than that, he is quite fast. Of course, I do not preclude rank outsiders......

On the other hand, if it were to be a style competition, then I couldn't possibly comment, and I would welcome your judgement, Bandit. :lol:

Having said that, I do look forward to skiing with the other competitor.

I maintain that tennis would be the fair sport. In fact I would offer a doubles match. How about I take as a partner, ermm, I dunno, entirely at random, let's say Rose's son? :shock:

Dave Mac, interesting :D I think we should start a bets book and set some odds. Do we go for a straight simple descent, or put some gates in?

I think that t'other hayseed has plenty of experience, and so cannot be considered an outsider. As for style, it's so subjective. We could level the odds and ask both to show their best steeze :D

Can Rose's son ski by any chance?

Gates, Bandit, did you say gates? These are J2skiers, the trees on each side should be enough. :wink: I think Niederau runs. Behind the trees are near vertical drops. :twisted: That should keep everyone on course.

The point about Rose's son and tennis is.... well maybe Rose should enlighten us.
