I had a text at 6.30am last Saturday from 'Big Phil' to say that it was snowing soooo much, the tracks of the cars passing his new shop opposite the Austria were instantly being covered by the fluffy white stuff. See you in about 4 weeks time! L.

Fancy another season here??
I've seen Phil being very busy and as for the weather it's not snowed since Monday but the temps haven't been above 0 all week. -5.5 this morning :)
Cheers

I'm a happy man Jan, oh that's so good, and guessing that they might switch the machines on in mid-December.
You mentioned Phil's new shop, is this separate from Margreiter? Is it under the Brunner at the corner, where the old bank used to be?
L. You have cheered me up, I had a mental 5 weeks. So see you in 4 weeks. Where do you hang out at lunchtime, and after skiing?
We will be a party of 6, 2 beginners, and two free skiers.
It's going to be another great winter.

BUT: have just started a new teaching job and the pension pot needs lining. also, Gelert doesn't have a pet passport and he goes where i go!
i almost bought the top floor flat in that new block opposite the Haus Dianne a few years ago: I could afford it now, and every time i pass it, I whimper!
yes, phil's shop is the old bank (which i remember as an old bank!). he's asked me to work there but with this new teaching job, i just can't ... but i've promised i'll talk to him ....
Dave: I'll be in Bobo's if i'm in the village at lunchtime, (i don't do the alpenland!)or if I'm on the markbachjoch, i'll be at rudi's. I know the instructors like the rubetzhal, but i'm loyal to rudi's!
as for 3.30pm, i generally shuttle between the sport and bobo's until about 6.00pm. my friend, R, (a solicitor) will be found dancing on one of the tables!
we'll be at the bichlwirt because she wants to see herbert playing the harp.
i ski with a skischool woolly hat on, an old fashioned red one, and on the sunday evening, will probably try to sneak in to the display team with the Welsh flag.
Hey hey!

Actually, i'll be sleeping off the 10 hour drive and you chirruping every 30 mins: ''Are we nearly there yet?''
I hope all the Krautingers I shall ply you with with means that I get ultra-cheap conveyancing on my new flat!
Jan: as the hat is too big for me, i generally turn it inside out so that it reads: eluhcsihcS uaneohcsdliW! Look for the Welsh flag at the ski show! L.
