Quid pro quo

I use serif movie plus - one of the up to date ones or nearly (older versions are cheaper) will do everything that final cut does for a fraction of the cost

The GoPro will record at 60fps in 720p.

Depends on what you want to do. If you want to upload to YouTube only, quality won't matter that much, if you want to watch back on a 50 inch HD tv, then quality is more important.
From the results I've seen you do get what you pay for. I've not seen results that match the GoPro.

My budget does not = Go Pro

The bullett cam is more in the area. I will mainly use on YouTube

I will see if i can load one up to youtube(not done this before) and it will probably be unedited and straght off the memory card probably will do over the weekend and will let you know when posted.

This vid is from the Drift x170 720x480 @30fps with medium compression for you tube upload - which means it could be higher quality.



The prime video is pretty clear on a 24" screen, great at laptop size. There is a possible quality issue in that autofocus can be a bit slow so panning from close up to distance isn't instantaneous.

That makes me want to go skiing Andy!!

Paul - if you could that would be great! Doesnt matter if it is a straight film as it will give a good idea :)
