I'd be amazed if this could delivery any kind of quality for the price.
Think about it. The ebay price is £35.48 delivered. Therefore £28 less VAT. The various accessories must add up to at least £3 in cost terms. The postage must cost at least £3. Therefore nett price is approx £22. The seller is looking to make a profit so must have bought these in at say £15 each max.
Something has to give in that equation. It will be quality of video or durability of the product. Probably both to be honest.
But as they say, you pays your money.....
720p, 30fps. Is that what you would class as ability for "good results"?
What winndows based editing suite can be used?

This is the one i use, 720P, has 2 rear caps and 1 will make the unit fully waterproof for underwater use. main reason i got this one is its size - it is tiny and you cant feel it on your helmet. try rigging a dummy up of the same size and weight as the go pro etc and you WILL notice its there. Also i have heard of the go pro being knocked off its mounting and lost when skiing in the trees due to it sticking out so much.

Interesting guy's ... I am not too sure about the ebay product as it seems very cheap but the dogcam seems very good and at a good price.
Has anybody out there in J2ski land used both and could give a comparison.

I think the e bay one is good value and if one isn't sure about using a cam or want to have a play it would be a good start.
I have a Drift x170 which is a bullet cam but quite big. I don't notice it on my head reallt and do prefer this to a GoPro type sticking up.
I do think that for amatueur play arounds quality at the high end (HD and what not) is really unimportant as most people viewing won't need the extra high definition that you are paying for. It just isn't needed.
720p gives perfectly adequate quality for most of us!

Had a look at the Dog cam and spoke to their online agent - certainly sounds like a good value cam
Paul James, do you have any films (non 'specialist' that are suitable for sharing) that I can see the quality of?
Santa might bring me a pressie (bought by ,me, addressed to me from Santa!) ;)

Frame rate is just as important as resolution. You need both to get good results.
