Or should that be Go Pro?
Ok, I know there is a very long thread about this subject - 10 reasons an all that.
I want to know 3 things:-
1. Are they worth it for the recreational skier going a couple (max) of times a year
2. Does it have to be a Go Pro
2. Do I have to be a video editing master to make any use of it?
3. How much do I need to spend to make it worth while?
My ski trips this year are 1 with the entire family aged 5 - 72 and another with just me and a Goat
What ya think?

Iphone 6 or 7 will be out before the coming season, mark my words
<rolls eyes>
1. Yes
2. No
3. No (but it is better to know a little......which is all i know and i do fine)
4. As much as you can afford, you get what you pay for.
Durability would be a major factor for a ski trip, you don't want it to fall apart with the slightest blow.
Waterproof for sure.
High frame rate if you are using it for fast action.
A decent resolution. (most good ones are 1080p)
A wide angle lens.
Mounting options.

If you want to be sooooo totally last year, then go ahead.
Personally I think its far more important to have an Iphone 5!!!

As much as I would love a go pro, I don't think I can afford that brand. What are the key specs I should be looking for?
