Hated Switzerland, it was the worst food I have had in years, and I missed a powder week in Serre Chevalier for wind and slush in Wengen . The locals in Serre Chevalier are very friendly, particularly so in Monetier, there are a couple of anti-English ESF instructors, but that is about it. Prices are not as eye-watering as the Trois-Vallées or Val d'Isere either.

I could offer you an apartment in Serre Chevalier,at 1500m. 200m to lifts,and with heated pool and sauna. It is a bit of a hike from Geneva though.

10% late booking discount off all September dates in our 1 bedroom apartment in Monetier-les-Bains , Serre Chevalier. Long weekends/short breaks also possible. Walking, climbing etc. Pool open daily until 15th September then weekends only until ski season starts.

Our 1 bedroom apartment in Monetier-les-Bains sleeps 4 people. We can offer a 5% early booking discount for anyone booking between now and the 31st August. Close to the ski lifts,and the new thermal spa, and with a pool, sauna and hammam to ease those aching muscles after a hard days skiing. Just a short walk to bars, shops and restaurants.
