The snow drought is finally over!!! The snow dance has worked!!
Its been snowing in style for most of the weekend. As i look out of the window, the snow is deep enough to cover the wheels of the car ... and were only at 950m! Can you imagine whats falling up the mountain!! France Meteo is predicting more in the next couple of days, so were going to have a great snow base for the season. If anyone's thinking of a cheeky last minute get away, then now's the time to do it!!! You might just catch the best conditions of the season. |
I know i'm sounding spoilt, but we've got too much blue skies and 100% sunshine!! We want more snow!! FranceMeteo say there's some coming on wednesday. Yes Yes Yes!!

there's also Chamonix. If you have a family, then dont stay near the town center ... try one of the nearby villages like Les Houches. I know Chamonix has a reputation for extreme skiing, but there an awful lot of variety there, so its not bad for the beginners, families, advanced alike.
