No problem, nothing to apologise for. I wanted them, I searched for them, and I got them. And I like them a lot.

Adele, are you perhaps suggesting that Tony H bought womens' salopettes

A certain Monty Python song is in my head....not sure why. Something to do with lumberjacks, anyone?

Well, looking at the forecast for next week, I'm kinda pleased that I'm not heading to resort until next Sunday. The sun will come out, the conditions will be epic, and the roads will be clear 8)
Switzerland, of course. Little resort, not too far away from Verbier, just me and a few locals....hmmmm uncut pow :D

Okay, I see your dilemma. How about "Buy the boots if they fit, and don't have them moulded to your feet, until you have lost the weight"
:D

only problem i am having is finding a ski jacket and trousers to fit as i am lady with curves....why is that always the way....maybe curvier women are not allowed to go skiing.. :-(

Have a look in TK Maxx, they have lots of past season colours, ski clothes, at very good prices. Also, some ski shops do clothing hire and I remember renting a jacket and trousers which were altered to fit.
Here's one such company, not used them personally, but they have been in business for many years.

If they fit you .....buy em. If you fancy them, be objective, they may not fit, and end up as very pricey plant pots.

Excellent resort, some very steep skiing and extensive range of slopes in the full area. Depending on where you stay, there can be a bit of a hike to the slopes.
Legendary apres ski in the Krazy Kangaruh, which is on the home run.
World Class resort 8)
Meribel or La Plagne?

La Plagne is a big resort. Choose one of the higher villages like Bellecote or Belle Plagne and you will be pretty snowsure. Meribel OTOH is likely to be slushy or muddy brown at resort level on those dates. Not definitely....but a lot more likely!
Huge range of skiing in La Plagne. You won't ski it all in a week. Then there's the off piste to go at :D

Sport Conrad in Germany offer a very good online service, and amazing prices. Quick delivery too, used them several times. Their printed brochure is absolute ski porn :D At the moment they are selling off all their Test Kit. So it's slightly tested stuff at very good prices, like Volkl Mantras with Marker Duke's for 500 Euros
