Big Big Snow so please take care

I'm seeing that 2 of the weather forecast sites have backed off with their snowfall predictions for the coming week. It's still going to snow most days, just not heaps.
Temps still good and low though :D

Pah, just read ise's blog.It seems that he's paid my resort a visit this weekend, and we all know what that means  When I finally catch up with him, I'll be looking to tie his boot liner laces together :D

Fancy being too idle to hike up  Great piccy :D
Did you manage to dodge the weather sufficiently well?

We made the Wildhorn, Schneiderhorn and Wildstubel summits and some others but the weather was brutal, -20' in the mornings, wind, high avalanche risk at times, snow and poor visibility but as luck would have it, I'm fairly hardcore :D

Hmmm, I just looked at your photos. There appears to have been one sunny day, and the rest look like it was blowing a hooley. Still, it could have been a lot worse, imagine being snowed in at a mountain hut and having to eat one of the group. Now that's fairly hardcore )

Oooh, I hope someone who is a ski teacher will be able to explain some tips for you to pass on. Is this problem on single Poma's or T-bar lifts as well?

Switzerland, of course. Little resort, not too far away from Verbier, just me and a few locals....hmmmm uncut pow :D

Well, of course he can feel smug right now, but I'm going to be in resort for ooh about 18 days. So much snow, so little time 8)

Still, this is'nt getting the OP some wearable ski kit. I agree totally with your suggestion about looking out some snowboarding clobber, it's cut quite differently, and they like it baggy and generally low rise IMHO.
