Eeeeeuuuwww I always think "workmans' bottom" when I see one displayed on the slopes. I almost said "hanging out", but it looked awful  Do you think we should get an award from Admin for the most entertaining thread hijack of the month ) |
Double post!!! Not too sure how that happened

Excellent :D |
Not sure if you are relieved or disappointed AJ  We still don't know what he was doing in bed with his mate, perhaps we should refrain from asking, just to be polite. |
Good advice AJ. In addition, ski boots that are too large or small can result in the toe being banged against the front of the toe-box. Not nice! |
It's a non starter, he's a hill frog  |
Karen, it's a sad fact that a lot of tour ops tend to bulk buy low quality hire contracts for their customers, and as you have paid out in advance, you then have no choice. You have time to research more options. Check out http://www.skiset.co.uk/j2ski/ for ideas, or alternatively http://www.snowrental.net/ for a comparison.
Unlike Trencher, I think that comfy boots are crucial for your group. If your beginners get horrible old sloppy boots, all they will remember of their first ski trip is the pain, whilst they wait for their big toenail to drop off. As they are in a no-knowledge situation, it's really important to get them clued up on how the boots are meant to feel, and when something is wrong with the fit. So, a package which allows unnlimmited swapping of equipment would be my tip. |
Skidaddle, bennyboy, just because you get an impression or believe it to be so true, don't make it anything more than a figment of your overworked imaginations :P I still want to find out from tino_11 the answer to my query...what about the baggy pants??? |
