Oooh Trencher, I read that as 2 days skiing, not 2 weeks

Anyway I have done that sort of damage in 3 days. Handed my nearly new Stockli's to dealership....endure techie's tutting while I made excuses
Wet snow conditions can leave skis looking undernourished IME.

I wonder if there is a glitch with Vista and Internet Explorer (I know, that would be as rare as hens teeth but you never know), but really I'm having no problems on a Vista pc using Firefox.
My personal  with Vista is the way it updates the machine while it's being used and then does a restart regardless.

That's okay Bill...it was nothing important really, feel free to override my work with your software

Okay, I'm on a Windows pc with Vista, but I'm not browsing with I.E, I'm using Firefox, which is free to download and use. Does that help?

Everything still okay here :D

I feel that I should also point out that I do in fact own more than 3 pairs of knickers. It's just that my bag gets full up with ski kit

Well, my rucksack gets full up these days. Hmmm, maybe I could have some fun at the airport
You may achieve more with your sale a bit closer to the start of the season. I would agree with you that the skis look like they need a service. If you don't get your sale, it may be worth getting them serviced and taking fresh photos, before trying again.
To sell or not to sell?

Rose, sell it now...just do it, don't hestitate

The way I see this:

Are you so rich that you don't need the money?

You could frame it, and er, look at it FTTT

You could use the money that you get doing more of what you want to see/do

If you sell it now, then there is no risk of losing out if the prices fall due to the credit crunch.

:D

BTW I do have an original painting on my lounge wall. I bought it because I liked it!

When do you feel it

Sounds perfect to me. As a whitewater kayaker, the more rain the better. Though ofcourse, in England/wales it doesn't help much as the rivers are privatly owned and closed to canoeing most of the year anyway. Here, the rivers and lakes are free passage for anyone, but for last several years we have had dry summers and the good water has gone by July.

We don't need rivers and lakes, the roads will do just fine these days
