It also has an expiry date, so check yours is current before you travel. Renew online, just done mine.
Unfortunately, in the 3V ski area, an EHIC, though valid, is likely to receive a "non" as will several million £ of travel insurance cover. However, cash will do nicely if you get picked up by piste recovery and taken to a clinic for minor treatment (minor=broken bones, cuts etc). However if you have decided in advance to purchase the French insurance Carte Neige as an extra insurance on your lift pass, this should suffice. You don't need to, but can otherwise expect to be held without treatment until the cash turns up. Personal experience      |
Think of how fit you will be by the end of the winter, ready to shred the hill :D I'm not certain that there is anything I can do to help you shorten your recovery time, but if positive thought works on ligament repair, you got it :D |
Might see you there then 8) I'll be playing with lots of new skis :D |
Leaving for Zermatt on 5th November :D

Tino, if you are getting Migraines, then it may be worth asking your folks in Spain to send you some Tonopan by post. I'm a migraine sufferer and I have found these, much more effective than the stuff available in the UK, (yes I know you're in Germany) Also they are much cheaper, a pack of 20 costs 1 Euro 50.
Hope you feel better soon. |
As it's France, I'm not too surprised to see that they think that 8 people will fit into 45sqm

I heard that CEM has been at the London Show this week, and will be at the Birmingham Show, possibly on the FallLine stand.
Admin Did you meet CEM at the London Show perchance? |
Dave Mac, now don't you go all technical on me
Modern touring poles seem pretty tough to me. It seemed worth suggesting to tomski that if he really can't get comfy he could try several different lengths of pole ( adjustables) until he's happy :D ise, having seen you ski a bit, I think that you do a pretty firm pole plant all the time. Can't recall you you bending/breaking any of your touring poles, perhaps you should try harder :D |
