The exercise I do is really simple. Stand on 2 feet, on 2 cushions, then move to 1 cushion, then to balancing on 1 foot on 1 cushion. This uses short twitch fibres in the leg muscles, stabilising muscles in the feet and ankles and also engages the core muscles in the balancing compensation movements. Simple in concept but fiendishly hard ) Linky's to a couple of suppliers to show examples of products...... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Yoga-Mad-Stability-Cushion-Blue/dp/B000FBNBMI/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=sports&qid=1227426776&sr=8-4 http://www.physicalcompany.co.uk/products/product_detail.asp?productId=BOSUR :D |
Then you always get the ones you want :D Rose, ski carriage could add a large chunk to your holiday costs  |
Er, nope...That's the question I would ask :D |
May I suggest that you buy some nice sandwiches and some juices in the departure lounge, and have an inflight picnic, as Easy offer sandwiches and panini's only, no meals as such :D

Oooh, Rose, that's a bit cheap of Inghams. Still, it could be a good deal for you, as I fly regularly on Easy, and they are almost always punctual. I used to fly BA, which were almost always late.
BA meals are nothing to seek out these days, I have had some shockers in the past couple of years. Unless you are at the front, where the food is ) ! |
Rose, for -20 and below, I think you will need a balaclava. Even if you manage to find/make an oil based foundation, and get some high altitude sun cream (which has less water), you risk damage to the minor blood vessels in the face, as the skin contains water.

Avvy risk was at 3 today in Valais AFAIR. Not a good day to be heading away from a resort area in windy conditions.
This afternoon I saw 94kph Northerly recorded on one weather station mid mountain in Zermatt. |
Tony, at least with an old plane, the folks up front can actually fly it, as opposed to calling PC World when it goes wrong )
