Just been to dig my car out. It was buried up above the bonnet, which is a wee bit taller than yours. Not found our parking place signpost yet though
Went up on Grimentz today, beautiful deep powder, and I ran over a rock  Plenty of slide activity, notably the top right hand side of the Tsarva piste has vanished under debris  |
It certainly looks like the bindings have broken free. From other racers' comments there was wind which caught under the tips of others skis at that point and there were some other near accidents.
AFAIK he is in an induced coma, with head and lung injuries. |
Yes, it's really common. For me it goes like... The surface is white...the sky is white...all around me is white....so which way is up? Splat  I'm not as bad as I used to be, and I do think it goes with more time on skis, and it becomes less "survival" and more about feeling the snow. Next time you are skiing, try finding somewhere really gentle and quiet and ski slowly with your eyes shut for a few moments to really feel what is going on underfoot. |
I remember that discussion  It revolved around me saying it was possible to ski, and enjoy Argentiere without going to the top......and you calling me names. Hmmmmm  |
Quite, but the wall still needed doing and I did ski through to a very late lunch! :D |
Looks like it's pretty clear in Zinal, We should have come round :D
