Rural ski areas tend to avoid the glitz and glamour associated with the big name resorts :D Currently Switzerland is reasonable value, (as long as you avoid the obvious tourist hotspots like Verbier), when compared with prices in the Northern French Alps. The worst abuse of tourists I have read lately, is a Hamburger on sale in Courchevel, costing 38 Euros  |
Oooh  mental image of ise in a bikini on a beach...
Even more worrying would be ise in the Borat Mankini  Oh no...thread collision  |
Top ski racers have world cup circuit boot fitters to make modifications to their boots. Those modifications are made with the proper materials. If a boot is the proper size for the foot that's inside it, no after market DIY foam pads, heel cushions, etc are needed. If you buy the correct size, make and model of boot, by visiting a boot fitter before purchase, modifications are minimal during the life of the boot. |
Amanda, have a look at my blog and my www linky ) Maybe you have a shortsighted employer unable to see the benefit of the saving on the wage bill :?: |
