At one time everyone on the slopes (well Brits!) had C&A rodeo gear, I know we started out with it because we could not afford the naff Nevica stuff at the time. So much more choice now and I have to say I rarely see two ski jackets the same on a trip - which also makes it easier to spot the better half!
C&A - so 80's.... sigh!!! this goes with mullet hair cuts and bad perms.....! (I expect Tony H and Ian have had them too!!) |

Tony H - I am sure those sort would not frequent such a fun forum as J2ski! I enjoy my skiing, have had a 2 year break owing to an ankle op, and am now looking forward to getting back into the white fluffy stuff.. with a little sit in a deckchair to let my lunch go down (and I certainly don't spend all afternoon!) to much playing about and yodelling down the slopes to be had! I am still a lady, just not a posh one! :wink:

No-one has mentioned panda eyes yet and a red nose! This is always a tell tale sign, but one that I wear with smug satisfaction, cos I have been skiing and they ain't! :wink:
Oh and you yearn for an after lunch quick snooze in a deckchair, all wrapped up warmly, allowing the sun to gently tan your face (and give you panda eyes and a red nose to boot!!) :P |

How a smile is the same in any language! You have shared a gondola with other nationalities - or a chair - and everyone has been happily chatting away! The UN in a very small space!

Your heart sinks when you arrive at the airport for going home - I always call this SAS - Salzburg Airport Syndrome, as I always had a downer when we arrived there, and it had been snowing back in the resort :oops: :x
You think about what you were doing 'this time last week..!' You go into the office in intact! (I was going to put one piece but we all know how naff one pieces are now!) |
