Where is all the snow?

Are you planning on travelling to another resort with snow each day? I know there's a public bus from La Rosiere to Bourg St Maurice, because I've been on it and it takes around half an hour, and from there you could get the funicular to Les Arcs.
i second that
You can see the GFS ensembles (these are for Geneva) are strongly indicating a wedge of snow for the Northern Alps at least from the 17th...
They were originally showing that starting first week December but keep pushing it back...

Looks like the smug skiers are in Obergurgl,Val Thorens,Hintertuxx & Kaprun this weekend. None of the webcams in Vald'isere are swithed on in the resort, i wonder why ??? Despite what other people have written on this forum, this year is far worse than last year. The forecast for the next 10 days is always changeable, but has gone from a possible 15-40 in France and Austria to the odd 1-2cm over a few days. The cannons seem to be going like the clappers at the moment so finger crossed. I'm off to Kleinarl on the 27th which is only at 1000m,they opened 1 lift and 1 run yesterday with just 15cm at the top and 5cm at the bottom.Lets hope it stays cold for the artificial stuff going down, and a huge out of the blue dump in the next 7 days. Now where did i put my lucky pants !

It's a bus from the funicular up to 2000 at the moment. Looks like they built the Vanoise express 500m too low !

Not sure what forecast you guys have seen or what country your looking at,but all what was meant to be coming down in the Alps on the 17th doesn't seem to be coming out way now.

We shall see. I've seen so many 50cm predictions that have turned out to be a couple of flakes
