Oh and as far as Les Gets goes there is a lovely bar / restaurant right next to Le Grand Cry and the Nursery Slope. Certainly they do good Hoc Chocolates and I'm sure they do that GluVine.......

Forget the vin chaud, try the Mutzvig beer in bar Robinson on the main street in Morzine. But beware, it is to be drunk in moderation, even one pint after a day on the slopes is enough to give you wobbly legs!

Had loads of snow BTW last night. Morzine and Les Gets are now white! Makes a change! This should ease the slopes of Avoriaz a little as they should try and open some slopes in Morzine and Les Gets again.

thanks for the suggestions just hope the snow holds out and we get another big dump next week so we can ski in les gets and morzine. The nursery slopes and grand cry will definately be on the itinery with my daughter subject to snow coverage I am so looking fwd to skiing with her this year all being well. Last yr she had lessons in a ski school on the top of the mountain in scheffau and didnt really do much skiing so to speak but the dry ski lessons are really bringing her on and Im desperate to go on the mountain with her - but having said that Ive only ski'd once myself before although I can take on a blue happily nowadays hence why I picked les gets with a few green runs should be able to take her out and enjoy the snow with her as well as tackle the runs myself - my aim is to get onto the red runs this holiday maybe to ambitious I dunno but hey they are there to be taken on I suppose! I remember that the runs werent half as bad in the afternoon after a spot of lunch and a gluwein! so heres hoping van chaud is just as good!! - I 'll leave the beer till after the skiing I think if its that good! Thanks for all the suggestions keep the snow dancing going everyone!
