I think the best advice for anyone thinking of a late trip is save your money and book one in hand for next season.

Meanwhile, back on the ski slopes in Switzerland, today was mostly about feeling the new snow :D

I did also see the Buvette cook do a little extra work...

Definitely not a suntan day :D

Amazing conditions in Val d'Annivers, just shows how localised the weather really can be.

Today we had a lovely topping of fresh powder and glorious sunshine. Some turns were better than others  and my OH makes his skinny rock hoppers work hard!

Skied until 3pm 8)

Well, about 27 celcius in Vevey today, with similar temperatures yesterday and forecast for the next few days. It was 20 celcius at 10 pm last night.

Hopefully you listened to my advice and NOT Bandit's, who seems to be one of the many who like to exaggerate conditions to get the punters in.

Shame on you...especially when you're taking water from already depleted rivers in Valais in one of the worst drought years in 20 years to put it on the pistes so you can stay open when the conditions would have called for the season to finish a month ago at least.

As I said at the start, ENJOY the SUN, not the snow, or should I say, lack of!

We are talking about ski weather/locations, anywhere. I have seen valley variations in Colorado and in Perisher, Australia.
